If I am the author in this book, I will write three women’s vampire differently. These vampires do not play important role in the story, but I have more interesting idea by changing the background of three vampires. One of three vampires had a boy friend who is one of characters in the story, and was very happy. One day, however, she was taken away by Count Dracula. She forced him to become vampire. The boy friend wanted to find out her, but he decided to give up searching her at last. Then, they meet again in Dracula’s castle by chance. They might feel rip current in this situation. This is what I want to write the most. In the same reason, if I am Holmwood who is fiancé of Lucy, I cannot kill her in the tough situation that she becomes a vampire, and she begins to attack to human. I will feel the conflict in my mind.
Page 150 “ All of this has not been in vain” the situation is that people finally defeat Count Dracula, and the effect that the vampire made is gone. The reason why I choose this part is I believe that all efforts are meaningful. There is nothing wasteful in our lives despite in the case of either success of object or lost of object.

Setting: Mainly at Transylvania and London
Point of view: First person, diary form
Conflict: Count Dracula, a vampire had a bad effect to people. The vampire could become a dog, bat even mist. The creature came to each person who is a prey of it, and sucked human’s blood. The vampire could create his fellows who used to human being, by sucking the human’s blood. Mina Harker near to become his fellow, but the husband of Mina and his companion saved Mina from the danger of Dracula.
Climax: Dracula was undead during the night moreover he could become other living form such as bat. People could easily conclude that it was impossible for human to defeat the vampire, but they found that the vampire was weak in day time. They traced the vampire’s track and finally reached the vampire before the night came. They killed the vampire. As a result, the manipulated people or animals including Mina became sane.
Symbol: Crucifix is the symbol in the story. Crucifix makes a vampire weak when the vampire sees it. The vampire cannot be close to them, if they have it. Another good aspect of it is that people can rely on it even if it does not actually cheer them up. It makes people stronger mentally, when they want to feel to escape from their tough situation that they should defeat undead monster.
Irony: Lucy Westenra who is a friend of Mina was sucked by Dracula. People wanted to save her and stop her from becoming a vampire. The efforts would be well done, and they can handle with the danger, but unfortunately the efforts are in vain. She at last became the vampire, and began to suck other people’s blood. They sadly had to decide to kill her before she continued to commit the crime.
Theme: The cooperation is theme in the story. There is a monster which is strong and powerful in the story. The monster makes people unhappy. It seems that people cannot win the battle against the monster, but people cooperate with the case. Finally they defeat the monster.

I think that the story has roughly two sides that are human and monster. I want to talk about two different positions. At first, I will mention the view from human. In the story, there is a monster, but in real world I believe that that kind of monsters are nothing. Maybe monsters are extinct through the history, because people won the survival against monsters. I was shocked at the author who creates the monster which sucks human’s blood, and makes a new monster. The imagination is notable. His motif is from(e) I learn a passage from the story. The passage is “never give up until you make it” It is easy for human to escape from tough situation, but people in this story fight bravely against monsters. The monsters attacked Lucy who was young lady and I think that the lady should be saved. Unexpectedly, however, she became a vampire, despite the efforts by people. She started to suck blood from someone. When people saw the sight, they decided to kill her in spite of being person who loved her.
I mention the position from human in above sentences. I want to talk about vampire’s view. Human can be cruel, if they know that they are likely to be harmed. Human can kill person who attacks it, even if the human love the attacking person. At the same time, vampires want to save their lives. If vampires cannot suck human’s blood, they will extinct from the world. The author takes only sides with people not vampires. It seems that the position of author is correct. However there is a tragic past in vampire’s life maybe. The view from vampires is needed to profound this story. It seems that Van Helsing is likely to understand vampires. He is a professor who studies about supernatural phenomenon. His life against the monster is envious, because he experienced more interesting things than I. when I make film, I want to pick up Van Helsing who fights against supernatural phenomenon. His attitude toward mystery in the world is interesting. His life or background is mysterious. It inspires me to create film.
